Today we continue to talk about the effects of protests, the things we have learned in the past week, and more importantly what we are continuing to learn about ourselves, this country and our future. We are overwhelmed, but hopeful. We feel like we are in the chrysalis of massive change. Change that is painful, but very necessary. We have much more to learn and reflect on. There are things we look back on in order to learn from our mistakes, and new things we look forward to learning. We support those who protest for change and basic human decency, and we support those who put on their uniform every day to honestly and earnestly serve and protect their community. Much change is needed, we hope to be part of positive change.
